Visit Historic Beaumont Home Followed by a Dinner Cruise
Road Runners are revisiting the McFaddin-Ward House in Beaumont and taking a dinner cruise aboard the Ivory Bill, a U.S. Coast Guard inspected 45-ft. covered pontoon boat operated by the Big Thicket Association. Excursions are typically two hours. Your excursion will take you on the open waters of the Neches River and into the Big Thicket National Preserve. Visit a bald cypress - water tupelo swamp and travel farther down river to experience the Port of Beaumont and learn about local commerce and regional water management of our local community. Road Runners to Bellville
Road Runners are looking forward to our next outing on Monday, May 6th! We’ll meet here at 8:45, board the Harris County precinct bus and head west for the day. First stop will be the Arbor Gate Nursery which has grown to be one of the Houston area’s finest nurseries.
