We have officially opened up volunteer time slots for the Pumpkin Patch. We can’t do this without your help!

There are many opportunities to volunteer, both big and small. We also need trucks on October 4th at 8 a.m and November 1st at 8 a.m. Sign up in the narthex on our paper sign up sheet or email Virginia Murray or Trish Kessler to let her know when you can help.

10am to 4pm

On OCTOBER 11, from 10:00 to 4:00, Good Shepherd will celebrate the GRAND OPENING FESTIVAL DAY of the Annual Pumpkin Patch.  Everyone is welcome! Kids will enjoy activities like face painting, crafts, bouncy houses, train rides, food, snacks, a bake sale, a train demonstration, and a Monster Mash dance area with a live DJ, not to mention lots of funny skeleton vignettes on display for photo ops! We'll also have the Great Train Club display and a bake sale in the Parish Hall.  Additionally, we'll offer church tours and lots of good information about joining our church to any newcomers or visitors at the Grand Opening Day.  We hope you can volunteer to work one or more short two-hour shifts at one of the activity booths on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 to 4:00.  Be sure to sign up on the SIGN-UP SHEETS ON THE TABLES IN THE NARTHEX AND THE HALLWAY BY THE GREAT HALL. 

Movie will begin in the patch around dusk or 7:00 p.m. Concessions will be available. Bring your favorite blanket or chair.

4:30-6:30pm

Good Shepherd is partnering with the Kingwood Church of Christ to make this an extra special event!

We need several people to decorate their trunks and hand out candy.
