Sr. EYC Mission Trip
Final payment is due now!  Manditory meeting for all participants and at least one parent is Sunday, May 18, at 2:00 p.m.

Book Drive for Belize  This month we’re collecting books that our Sr. EYC missioners will carry to put in Holy Cross Anglican School’s library that we’re helping to build.  Clean out your bookshelves and bring in new or gently used materials appropriate for preschool – 8th grade students.  School supplies are also needed for these children of workers who have very little.

End-of-School Celebration Service We’re having a special outdoor service in the park across the street on Wednesday, May 28. If you’d like to help plan it, come to a planning meeting on Thursday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the Youth Room.

Jr. EYC Mission Trip:  Inner City Immersion!  July 13-17  The summer mission trip for those presently in 6th-8th grade will be to downtown Houston to serve the homeless.  We’ll stay at Christ Church Cathedral and work at different agencies that assist the street community of our city.  Not only will we be working hard in Christ’s name, but we’ll also experience some local culture and dine at various ethnic restaurants.  We’ll play at Schlitterbahn in Galveston on the last day.  Cost is $200.00, with non-refundable deposit of $100.00 due April 2.  Make something of your summer helping others!!  Sign-up sheet is up.

New Light Service Appeals to Teens!  The New Light service every third Sunday will now have wonderful guitar music and contemporary Praise & Worship songs.  This will be particularly appealing to teenagers.  This will be a worship experience that you’ll feel comfortable bringing your friends to!  It begins May 18th.
