I. PRIOR APPROVAL
A.
Church groups/committees may use the Great Hall, Parish Hall and the
kitchen facilities for meetings and events which they have scheduled on
the church calendar through the Office Manager.
B.
Any
non-member groups who wish to use the facilities must have the approval
of the Junior Warden and must schedule the event with the Office
Manager.
C.
All
groups using the facilities must designate one person to be responsible
for seeing that all policies are observed. This person must be
designated and approved by the Office Manager when scheduling is entered
on the church calendar.
II. PARISH HALL AND GREAT HALL
A. Return
tables and chairs to dollies or to locations indicated on the diagram
received from the Office Manager.
B. Clean
up any spills or messes. Remove any decorations put up for the
occasion.
C. Vacuum
carpeting unless prior arrangement is made with the Office Manager
regarding the cleaning crew.
D. Round
white table clothes are to be used only by Church groups. Wedding
receptions, etc., must use rented cloths from caterer or rental agency.
III. KITCHEN FACILITIES
A. Wash
silverware and dishes and return to appropriate places.
B. Dispose
of trash and take out to dumpster.
C. Clean
out coffee pots, disposing of grounds, wash and dry pots.
D. Dispose
of excess food. Food left in the refrigerator or freezer must be marked
with the date and the future use (i.e. coffee hour). Goods in the
refrigerator such as sticks of margarine and jelly may be used.
E. Wipe
counters and clean out sinks.
F. Take
all soiled dish cloths home, launder them and return them within 2-3
days.
Appliances or utensils that may be used are: coffee pots, silverware,
dishes, and all large kitchen appliances. Outside caterers are to supply
their own utensils and dishes. Follow printed instructions for use of
dishwasher. Be sure stove and oven are turned off and the dishwasher is
emptied.

IV. FEES
A. For
wedding events, consult WEDDING POLICY.
B. For outside groups that use the Parish Hall, Great Hall, or
kitchen $100.00 clean-up fee may be required. This fee will be refunded
if the user group satisfactorily does its own clean-up. Determination
for the assessment of this fee will be made by the Junior Warden in
consultation with the Office Manager and will be made on an
individual event basis.
C. All
fees are to be paid in advance.
V. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Smoking
in the buildings is not allowed.
B. Fire
exits must be kept clear at all times. Location of fire extinguishers
should be noted prior to use of the facilities.
