Our annual Parish Picnic celebrating Independence Day will be on Sunday, July 4th this year, immediately following the 10:15 a.m. service. We'd like to invite each you to SAVE THE DATE and plan to join us. The Parish Picnic is a really great opportunity to connect with others, get to know more folks on a first-name basis, and help out with an event that gets better each year as more hearts and hands are involved. In order to accommodate the tables and chairs set up in the Great Hall, the New Light service will move to the main church, and all will worship in a less formal manner as we sing the songs and pray the prayers that our New Light families enjoy each week. In addition to our traditional homemade ice cream contest, bingo and parade, this year's picnic will feature some great outdoor "summer fun" activities in a special effort to beat the heat! Kelli Hill needs some "go-to" Picnic Patrons (that's code for unpaid volunteers), and we'll have sign-ups in the Parish Hall soon. There are big jobs, small tasks, and everything in-between -- let us know what you're good at, and we'll find a place for you to shine!
