Exciting New Children and Youth Friendly Service!
The Worship Exploration Team, which has been working on ways to fulfill the worship goals set by the parish 2005 Visioning Event, has started a new service . With the help of wonderful feedback and support from the congregation, the team has discerned that an exciting youth-friendly service will accomplish the goal of providing more dynamic and diverse worship. This service is at 10:15a.m. on Sundays in the Great Hall and has a more casual, contemporary feeling. During the Peace, everyone attending the alternative service will come into the Nave (main church) so that all may have communion together. One of the priests will officiate at the alternative service and will return with the congregation into the Nave to assist with Eucharist. This service will be appropriate for families and people of all ages and will feature praise music, and a teaching sermon.
