Financial Stewardship
The theme for our 2009 Financial Stewardship campaign is Rise to the Challenge of Our Future and reflects two realities:
- Good Shepherd is preparing for a new rector and an exciting future.
- Financial obligations, whether they are utility bills, postage, staff compensation or general maintenance, increase each year and require our support.
Your pledge—your best estimate of giving for the year—along with those of other parishioners is essential in helping the Vestry estimate what services and programs are possible. Whether you prefer to make a weekly offering, a monthly or quarterly one, or a one time annual gift, we need to know how much your pledge will be so the Vestry can apply it towards the mission and ministry needs that make up our parish budget.
